The boards are the same thin-ness across the width, very thin, the staples that actually hit the battens are pulling through the boards, most of the battens have separated. The colour has totally faded now (2 years old), I doubt they will survive much longer. So if you buy these be prepared to reattach the battens, reattach the slats, repaint and basically replace the entire thing after a few years. I wish I knew the word for things that have been reduced so much that they no longer function. It's an expensive pile of firewood.

Bought these last August, really pleased with them. No problems at all, held strong in the wind and not warped or come apart in anyway.

Bought 8 of these panels, after only 6 months they have warped, split & coming apart!, total waste of money.
Had to take them all down recently & replace with all new panels (obviously bought from elsewhere).
Very costly mistake, will never buy fence panels from B&Q again that's for sure!!!
Battens broke the first time the wind blew.

These panels are not cheap so you expect them to last however on one of the four panels I bought, the top rail split on a knot that then caused 3 further rails to break beneath again on knots. I tried claiming on the guarantee and this it the response from Grange fencing.
'If one batten would be broken, the panel would not has been destroyed. Damage to the fence was largely influenced by other factors such for example as weather conditions.'
So basically these panels are fine as long as they don't experience weather!
Definitely not recommended, there are far stronger panels available elsewhere.
Flimsy due to poor design and materials

None of the 4 panels were properly made with sound wooden battens. Either nails were missing or the battens were cracked. I had expected wider battens which would improve the rigidity.
