As expected. Very pretty

The black wires do show through a bit (they’d be less obvious if thy were white. Could have been easily achieved). The overall effect is good though and the glass looks alabastery and delicate on the wall. Sits nice and flush. See pics.

I bought these uplighters five years ago and am really pleased with them. They look good and give a pleasing light. The only advice I'd give is do not tighten screws too tightly when fitting as one broke recently after decorating.

Removed and replaced by decorators. Fell off a few weeks later so needed to be replaced by me, who is not a total eejit. Easy to fit and connect, attractive piece really. Make sure the back plate fits flush to the wall - pro tip - don't live in a 300 year old house!

These lights look nice, but have fitting design faults. One of the recommended screw holes In the fixing plate is directly above the cable entry point - ie where the cable lies in the wall (risk of drilling through it). The alternative screw hole is behind the bulb holder, so you can't easily get a screw into it! Finally the main screw holes are countersunk (unnecessarily) so you have to countersink the wall to get the fixing plate to lie flat! All issues that the designer of the fixing plate should have avoided.

Bought three of these for the family room and they look and
D perform brilliantly.
