Bought this for my downstairs toilet. Looks beaudiful and was easy to fit. The light is nice and bright so i can tell if the light in the toilet has been left on, thus saving me money. The screwless finish is very high quality too. Nice.
Not of great quality

Refurbishing our kitchen, changing switches etc.,two of these were used for washer and fridge, besides the switch connections being upside down, normally live at the top, load at the bottom, they are reversed, making connections difficult.
The switch failed to operate after two weeks, opened it up to examine, the plastic moulding housing the switch components had broken, could not return it as receipt had been thrown out.
Would not purchase this make again.

I bought these to isolate the sockets under the appliances. They look nice but the supply side is at the bottom and the load side is at the top. As with most kitchens the supply comes from above and the appliance is below. Not a lot of room in the back for it to be part of a ring main. They are the right way around for storage heaters but that is about all. It wouldn't matter for them as there are only 2 cables going in not 3. Would be interested to know if the switched fused spurs are the same way around. They are made by British General. It has their name under the front plate. They are not very good quality. A bit flimsy. The earth terminal bent away from the plate while I was preparing the terminal for the cable. I have sockets and light switches aswell. I will probably have to replace them in a few years as the front plate doesn't seem all that secure.
