Features and Benefits
At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.
- Perfect for high traffic areas
- Does not reflect light
- Easy and pleasant to use
- Colour stays true even when washed

Paint was nothing like the colour on the tub. Far too pinky /red. Not a deep darker red. It's heading back to the shop. Tired of having to return paint because it's nothing like the colour tab on the front of the tub when you begin to paint.
Don't expect a matt finish!!!

Had used Classic Red Matt 5 years ago as a feature wall - we loved the rich colour and the true Matt finish. It did need 3 coats but the results were good. Having had a stove fitted in the chimney breast we needed to re-paint and were pleased to find the colour still available. I painted the wall and then we went out for a few hours. On our return I was surprised to find a sheen on the finished dried paint. Not what we were expecting or wanted. I returned the paint to the Bognor Store and explained the problem and was told that as the paint was 'durable' that was why the finish had a sheen. To be fair to the store my money was refunded without fuss and I bought the B&Q basic Classic Red Matt - which is Matt - and am pleased with the results. Perhaps this paint should be re-labelled as by no stretch of the imagination is it Matt!

Purchased at Christmas and applied 3 coats to my lounge wall. Had to go over with a brush in places as its thin paint but the results are amazing. It looks fresh bright stylish and has the look of velvet. I'm impressed with colour.

To start with this paint does NOT have a matt finish and it does reflect light! Both said to be the opposite on the paint properties. It does not have the beautiful red colour of the original basic matt emulsion. I have painted a wall with it and wasted my money as I now will have to re-paint it to get a good matt finish I required. I will not buy your paint again if I can't trust what "It say's on the can".
Lovely but hard work

I decided to use Matt instead sheen. I painted on top of a lilac sheen. It took 4 coats so twice as much paint as I had anticipated or budgeted for. The finish is lovely however. What a fantastic colour.
