Works as described but instruction may be misread by inexperienced DIYer.
I used screws to ensure base was secure. Wasn't happy that it relied on double-sided tape.
I believe it is unlikely to be reusable if the trim has to be removed because it relies on serrated grips, which will probably wear if removed more than once or twice. I think its expensive for what it is as a mass produced item.

An easy lay

I bought this to do a double bedroom in the loft. I have laid laminate a couple of times in the past but I have to say this was the easiest and the finish job even pleased my wife!

I bought this door trim to put down between tiled floors and my new nobile chestnut laminate floor. You didn't seem to have a matching chestnut trim so i bought this product. It marks very easily. One trim was damaged by the fitter putting it down and a second trim was damaged by closing a door to see how much neede to be shaved off it. If you don't scratch it with anything it matches the flooring quite well but if you do you are left with white marks showing in doorways. Not really tough enough for the job.

Badly designed and wobbly

We bought four of these, the fitter couldn't get them fitted well and left it to us to finish off. I've made several attempts and none of them do the job at all. The plastic bedding strip needs fixing properly to the floor, as the sticky strip soon lifts. Then the blue plastic clips that join the cover to the bedding strip are too weak and wobbly to hold the cover on for more than a few minutes. Simply walking on or even near it makes it lift off a little, then the next person trips over it and it's off completely!
At £10 a go these are very overpriced bits of very cheap flimsy plastic that don't work. Avoid these like the plague!

Overpriced flimsy piece of tat - unfit for purpose

I bought this to do the simple job of neatening the join between a laminate and a tiled floor. Totally unfit for purpose. Not only was it very fiddly and difficult to fit with the instructions not flagging key points (like you can't click the clips into position from above, you have to slide them in from the side, and even that was really difficult and meant wrecking the adhesive strip on the bottom clip holding part as it needed to be removed and repositioned), but once fitted, the top part is wobbly and within a day of installation it was already scuffed - and that was on a relatively lightly used doorway. It doesn't seem to be any better than a cheap piece of plastic with a nanometre-thin piece of oak coloured film on it. Don't buy, use a metal strip instead, which I now intend to. I can't see how it could possibly be robust enough to bridge the gap between two floors of different heights as it claims.
