First time putting coving up
Dufus Dad - 1 month ago
This was the first time i've put coving up. I read all the instructions and watched Youtube videos as well so I was well prepared. I didn't mark the walls and ceiling up though as I wasn't sure why I needed to do it. Only when I started to glue the long pieces to the wall did I realise : The longer the length the more it will twist, so if you don't mark the wall & ceiling it may end up a bit wobbly. That's my issue , not the coving. The coving was easy to cut and is very smooth (not the polystyrene of old). I used instant grab adhesive and applied it using a gun. I was happy with what I'd done (more importantly so was the Wife), so I'm doing another room shortly.

I have purchased this coving about a month ago and it went up easy using the recommended adhesive. The joins and corner cuts could be better to match up. For the price however I can not complain.
So simple and very effective!

It took me a time to work out what goes where, but when the penny had dropped it was so simple to put up, and my room looks so good now! To have coved a room for £30 I thought was real value for money!

Never put up coving before, found it quite easy. Some corners where a bit out but that was because of the walls not being true. Managed to get a good finish. Been back to buy more, very pleased.
