Features and Benefits
The irresistible natural beauty of solid wood flooring remains a popular choice for many. The look and feel of the woodgrain coupled with the thermal insulation properties of wood will make your chosen space one of tranquillity and warmth. Solid wood flooring is susceptible to moisture and humidity changes, making it sensitive to seasonal changes, so you'll need to consider acclimatisation before installation but once laid, and with maintenance the hardwearing nature of wood flooring means it's a great long term option for your home.
- The planks in each pack come in varying sizes of 300mm - 1.2m, which when laid, gives your floor a natural finish without regularity
- Made from responsibly sourced, Forest Friendly timber

Just had this laid in the bedroom, it looks stunning. Found matching colour skirting on internet. Had handy man lay it as very thick, also needed doors trimming. Very good quality.
Beautiful rich colour solid wood flooring

Beautiful rich colour solid wood flooring, nicely textured, used nails to fit it, really pleased. Unfortunately it wasn't on offer so had to pay full price which is not cheap but comparable to other wood flooring suppliers

Bought a quality two years ago to cover a kitchen diner 11 x 4 metres. Professional laid using glue and secret nailer. Looks absolutely superb and expensive. Just completed the hallway in the same product and looks equally as good. The hand carved nature of the surface adds to the quality look and different board lengths give it that antique look. Great product

I've fitted this in my hallway and it looks fantastic. I am so pleased with it.
It took a lot of planning as the boards are all different lengths but the finished look is amazing.
I fitted it myself and found it easy but be warned you definitely need to drill pilot holes for the screws...I just set up my electric screwdriver along with my drill and off I went.
I plan on fitting it in my livingroom too.
Poor Quality Control, Beautiful Look

My husband and I had SO much trouble with this wood. We dutifully checked each plank before it was professionally laid and were horrified by the state of some of the planks. By the end of the project we reckon we'd had to exchange about half the volume we purchased (about 9 packs went back in total). This was incredibly inconvenient as we don't live all that close to the store and we had a lounge covered in planks for weeks! The hours and hours we spent examining each piece and repacking it made the whole job a nightmare. Had we found the wood to be mostly up to scratch we wouldn't have bothered going through it all.
There were several very obvious splits through the wood, and many more you would miss if you didn't look closely. There were numerous cases of dents and the odd bashed corner or snapped tounges. Some of the planks were warped and many had ugly filled patches (unlike the store display!). After realising that half of each box was compromised in some way, we just decided to ask the fitter to cut off splits if they were near the end of the plank, but of course theses then had to be laid at the edge of the room, and fitting was then more complicated and stressful.
Had we realised how laborious the whole process would be we wouldn't have embarked on it, but once the floor had been started we couldn't change the brand!
Now that it's down it does look beautiful. The colour doesn't resemble the image unless it's in bright sunlight, but I prefer the darker hue. The variety of patterns in the wood is lovely, but beware of the filler (personally I think it adds a bit of character). I agree with another review which said it scratches easily. Sadly we have seen this already, and I'm afraid of how it's going to look once we put the furniture back. I think it's a lacquered finish which is much harder to fix scratches (I didn't realise this, and just assumed some oil would sort it! I wish I'd done my research better). It's very solid feeling underfoot, and actually everyone who has seen it seems genuinely impressed. If I knew what a huge headache it would be, I'd not have done it. Saying that, I gave it 2 stars not 1 because the look compensates for the shoddy quality control. But I wanted to warn perspective buyers about the need to check the wood before you lay it.
