At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

Purchased this for the colour and nothing else. Having used B+Qs own brand products I was fairly happy in that it would do the job. How wrong could I be. Despite sanding (a matt) wall down smooth, hoovering it, washing it, basically everything that you should do to prep a wall, not only was it difficult to apply but it took over 4 coats to get a good finish. Then after a few days I noticed a blister. I poked the blister and it popped. I was then able to peel the paint away from the wall in strips, like PVA glue from your hands (remember that as a child?). All the other (non-feature) walls have been painted with a well known branded product and we haven't had a problem. After stripping the wall back we primed the wall with a well know branded paint and it stuck fast, even after a few hours. We then tried the matt version of this product on top. The quality of that isn't much better. The first coat barely covered and after 12 hours drying time the second coat was put on. In some places the paint peeled off again as the roller went over it. And yes it needs a third coat, at least. I'm never buying the colours brand again. If I like the colour, I'm getting it mixed by a well known brand!
