You can apply this beeswax from the Colron Refined range to , using a cloth, to provide protection. It takes 15 minutes to dry.

- Medium duty
- Surface Preparation - Previous coatings should be removed prior to application. Ensure all surfaces are clean and dry. Lightly sand and wipe with white spirit.
- Instructions for Use - Shake well prior to use. If the wax appears solid allow it to reach room temperature before use. Apply a thin coat onto the surface by rubbing along the direction of the grain. Leave to dry for at least 15 minutes. Buff the surface with a lint free, soft cloth along the wood grain. Leave for 2 hours before applying a second coat. Further coats will provide a deeper intensity of colour.

Brilliant, great colour, easy to use.
Bought this to treat a new pine shelf. So quick to use and finish project. Excellent colour, just as required. Went on smoothly , dry in 15 minutes. One coat was plenty for my needs. Would definitely buy this again.

Very versatile
I have had a tin of this wax for many years and it is still useable. It provides good coverage and buffs to a good shine. I also used it to seal the milk paint on a chair I refurbished and it worked very well and didn’t change the colour too much

Disappointing, compared with previous product
Having used previous Colron wax products (Colron brushing wax - now NLA) I had no hesitation in buying this product. However in use, I found it simply did not penetrate into the grain of the wood, thus failing to bring out the full colour and texture of the grain. I tried on several different items all with the same results. I did some digging and found other people have had similar experience with this product, and so I would not recommend its use. I did find another make of wax which was excellent (and cheaper) - and in fact used by many professionals. However B+Q don't stock it.

recently removed 60 years of paint from wood in hall and used this to enhance the wood it really did the job and brought a lovely finish showing the grain in the wood so well ! also used on new oak coffee table and its just as i wanted it bonus for me is it has a really nice fragrance which you really appreciate after all the sanding!!! i am going to get another to keep in so i get the right shade etc
