Bought this product and as other reviewers have stated the instructions are awful, managed to get it all together then realised there were no curtain hooks with it, went back to B & Q and was advised to buy a certain hook, before buying i was doubtful and asked the young assistant to make sure they were suitable, turned out they wasn't. She then phoned a senior member of staff who was clueless. Went elsewhere and bought hooks, used it twice and now it's jammed.
Total waste of money and typical B & Q buying cheap products and putting there name on them.
I will never shop at B & Q again

Whoever thought that a corded curtain track that only pulls one side at a time was a good idea needs their head examined! Not only is it more effort than manually pulling the curtains, but it is difficult to assemble and to fit. The bracket design means you cannot use a power screwdriver unless you have extremely long screwdriver bits, and the screws supplied are very poor quality indeed, and can't decide whether they are slot head or philips. Please supply decent screws with proper Pozidriv or Torx heads, or don't supply any! I only used them because I did not have an extra long bit for the usual screws I use. Altogether a very poor purchase, which I will not be repeating.

Bought 2 of these to fit bay windows with heavy curtains. Followed instructions. Worked ok for a bit then both got stuck and buts broke off. Not fit for heavy curtains
The worst curtain rail

It's the worst curtain rail I have ever bought in my live. Came incomplete, after few days broke down.
cheap plastic and aweful instructions

Initially it looked clean and functional. the rail can be cut to size by removing the ends and trimming. Instructions are frankly awful, just a single A3 sheet with pictures no explanations and poor detail. Seriously this is one of the worse example I have seen in 20 years. Once I worked out how to put it up it seems strong although not sure it will take heavy curtains despite the "heavyweight" description. The pulley system is very nasty, regularly jams in the gully so have to use soap to lubricate. Pull cables are cheap nylon string and ugly. All in all for £32 I think its a waste of money. The previous metal version may have been better but avoid the plastic version. Sadly B&Q are stocking more of this cheaper quality stuff and it isn;t sustainable.
