Bought this a while ago when few reviews were done, what a mistake! It is so poor. Hard to install and just does not draw properly. It continuously jams and now on of the holding brackets has snapped. Even one start makes it look good.
Poor quality not for heavy curtains as stated

Bought this today as I wanted a corded curtain track for a straight window 3.5m total length fully lined curtains full height unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before purchase.
Installation was straight forward although the joining bracket is quite poor. Opening and closing my curtains with the cord barely worked as they are heavy
The cord is two loops so you have to open and close each curtain separately.
After converting the cord to pull from one end only (this required new cord which I had and a cord tensioner) I used a silicone spray to help the runners and the system now works better I feel that this product is ok for light curtains and not the heavyweight ones which it states it's for
This is rubbish

Bought a couple of years ago. I got it up and working in a bay window but it was not an easy job. The curtains never ran smoothly around the bends even though I had been very careful to make the curve very gradual.
Now one of the parts has snapped so I will have to replace the whole thing unless I can find a replacement bit.
Definitely not recommended.
Does the job

Bought this then read the reviews so was apprehensive. Followed the instructions, fitted to a bay window, not 90 but 120 degrees. Bent ok followed instructions on how to bend, it was easy. Don't normally leave a review but a competent person can install without breaking as previous people have stated, but I weren't going to a 90 degree angle!

This was bought, in store, for a bay window with a fairly gradual curve and chosen because the packaging states it is suitable for bays and heavy curtains. The chord feature seemed luxurious and we were happy to pay the extra for it. Once the track was up (took my competant DIY husband hours) we put the curtains on and tried to close them with the chord. Nothing would budge. One reasonably strong tug brought the entire system and fixings crashing to the floor. At this point we should have taken it back to the shop, but we were tired and determined to have curtains up, so decided we would remove the chord system and try again - turning it into a £25 track instead of a £48 one. We put everything back up again and added the curtains. 2 days later, the fixings that hold the track in place popped open and the curtains and track fell to the ground again. Because we can't use the chord, the curtains sag at 1 end where the chord mechanism is. We're eventually going to have to change it. It is clearly not suitable for heavy curtains, and it does not appear B&Q sell anything that is other than rods which do not work on bay windows. If it had not been such a pain to put up in the first place, we would have returned it, however as it is, we're stuck with it.
