Poor quality cistern and hinges

Bought this about a month ago and the cistern is quite flimsy. Particularly the valve is prone to leaking out of the top. The hinges are going rusty already. The toilet itself is good though. For the money I expect better.
Great Looking Toilet

I am very pleased with the purchase of the Helena Back to wall toilet. It looks great in a Marletti white gloss unit.

Recently purchased its ideal for our small bathroom. the soft close seat & lid work well. the design of the toilet means its easier to clean as there isn't hard to get to places or dust traps. would recommend
Decent quality, but why the massive price hike!

Bought a pair of these for the upstairs bathrooms, and have to say my wife and myself are impressed. Although the castings aren’t perfect (there are small gaps of up to about 6mm between the back of the toilet and the cabinets behind), the overall quality is good, and the seats fit well. As has been mentioned, quite easy to block if you chuck a lot a paper down it ;-)
Recommended, although the price has gone up 41% between Nov 2016 and Jan 2017!!
As the product description is somewhat lacking, this toilet comes with soft close seat and lid, chrome effect dual flush button, concealed cistern, cistern to pan pipe, and brackets and screws to fix toilet to the floor.
It works - well - and looks good too.

We had a problem. We refitted a bathroom with a basin, bath and back-to-wall toilet with concealed cistern from an internet supplier. The toilet was trouble from the start and I thought it was my bad fitting, but I eventually decided it was the design of the toilet itself. Because of the angle of the sides there was often light splashing on the floor for blokes standing up to use it, and it often blocked. So I decided to replace it.
Enter stage right - Helena. It isn't cheap but another reviewer said it didn't block, so with that encouragement I bought it. It was a good call so 'thank you' to that reviewer. I found it easy to fit, the angle of the sides inside the pan is much steeper so that's the end of problem 1 and it hasn't blocked at all (it's been in use for three weeks or so now) so that's the end of the potentially embarrasing (when we had visitors) problem 2. The design is even better than I had hoped because the water rushes round both sides of the pan very much faster than the previous one, meets in the middle and this creates a strong water jet towards the back of the toilet which helps the flushing process even more.
The seat is soft closing, and clever! I have struggled before with winding a seat back to get the tension on before mounting it onto the toilet. Not this one. You just put it on the pins and it is good to go. The toilet comes with a cistern, which I didn't realise and didn't need. Be aware of this if you buy it and don't order another one.
I am very pleased indeed with this purchase, and all the more since we have a lot of family coming to stay with us at Christmas. I would say that I am relieved too, but that might be mistaken for a pun :)
