I bought two of these taps for our new kitchen & utility room. At first they looked very stylish and good quality for the price, however 8months later and at least 1/4 of the paint on the spout On one tap has lifted off and the On/Off is wearing thin and exposing undercoat....RUBBISH!

The paint is very thin and has chipped scratched easily, you can see the silver underneath. Very disappointed, this is not acceptable for a tap of this price.
Disappointing quality for the money

The system of fixing the tap block to the sink was a new one for me, but I like it. However, the quality of the tap tails supplied is terrible! They kink incredibly easily, and the end result was that I had to use the tap tails of the old tap instead of the new ones supplied - not good enough for the money! I suspect this is an issue with all Cooke & Lewis taps, so a back-up plan might be a good idea if you go ahead with one of them.

This tap looks expensive but it is awful quality. Within a week of fitting, it began chipping and can see the silver underneath.
