Speak to the staff about the trap

I decided on this tray not because it was the cheapest, but because it has the most room to hold water inside (drain blockage has been a problem before). The tray itself is good and solid, with feet and metal support bars underneath. Fitted it looks nice and feels sturdy.
My only problem is with the trap. I looked at reviews 3 weeks after purchasing, the day before the bathroom was to be fitted by our plumber. Others said that the trap is the wrong size for the tray. The one supplied in my kit was the standard shower waste (03772812), and another reviewer said you need the Hi-flow shower waste (03772829). That reviewer said B&Q told him in 2017 that the hi-flow was now being included in kits, but mine wasn't. You can tell the difference because the hi-flow has holes in the top.
The staff in the store were very helpful, and said I could buy the hi-flow in case it was needed, and return whichever trap didn't work for the refund. The plumber tried with the standard, but he had to use the hi-flow. I would recommend that if you are purchasing this instore, that you speak to the staff to check you have the hi-flow. If there is a problem in doing that, you would be better to spend £20 and get the next priced tray.
Bonkers design

Stupid design. The tray plinth is part of the tray itself so once it’s in position you just have to hope and pray it’s not leaking. Who ever thought this design up needs sacking, or to install one of these themselves. My customers were laughing at it and they were happy to bin it! DO NOT BUY THIS, move on, much better thought out products out there.
Cheap for a reason.

This tray has two solid sides and two that are cut away. This makes installation awkward in a corner if you arrange it so that the solid sides face out to the room as intended, as you cannot reach under to adjust the feet or fix the waste/pipe whilst in situ. If you arrange it so that one or more of the cut away sides face out then you have the issue of how to create a clean finish as it doesn't come with any kind of finish plinth or trim.
The compression fitting on the supplied waste is too large for 32mm pipe but too small for 40mm so factor in the cost of a separate 90mm shower waste or be prepared for some bodging!
