I bought this bin a month or so back, and every time emptying it/ trying to get the bin liner out of the bin, turns into a huge job in itself. The liners catch on everything possible inside the bin, it’s already broke the inner rim. When you eventually manage to get the bin liner out, there’s about 20 holes on it where it has been catching. Never reviewed an item before but this item is awful.
Solid Bin

We confused to buy the cheaper plastic bins just to have them break every 9-12 months. This one is solidly built and fits 40L bin bags with ease. Has a bin bag holder device and the pedal feels of quality. Keep in mind we were using the cheap bins in the past. Anyway, worth the buy.
Product Good but no bin liners

Happy with the product but it would help if B&Q recommended the correct size bin liners. Therefore only 2 stars as not fit for purpose with the 40L liners they suggested and I bought.
Perfect for items you don’t want to keep

I’d been struggling to think of a way to dispose of unwanted items that I couldn’t recycle. I had tried just leaving things on the floor or on the worktop but this became messy and unhygienic. A”friend” recommended I get what is called “a bin” whilst shopping in B&Q I came across “a bin” and purchased it. I now have it in my kitchen and the floor and worktops are kept tidy. Thanks B&Q for selling this item!!!
