Didn't last 6 month and the flush mechanism has fa

Didn't last 6 months flush mechanism has failed. Now I know they're right about b and q products. Can't even get it refunded as I will have to get a plumber to pull it out and take it back. It's a joke

Very poor quality

I have never written a review of a toilet before but this has to be the most appalling poorest quality item I have ever purchased for my bathroom. I thought that as it was a bit more expensive it would be better but that is not the case. The floor fixings are 8mm and bend very easily , the toilet seat is really difficult to instal, the glazing does not cover the edge of the top of the cistern and does not fit flush with the cistern. I am at a loss to know how much more cheaply things can be made and still pass quality control

First buy

Easy to fit even for an amateur, the instructions are simple and using push fit items for the cold feed made it quicker to complete. Very economical on water with the flush systems

Great product firma DIYer

East to fit and maintain. No hidden corners under the pan, very sheik looking. Cistern foesnt sttsched to will but, if you follow instructions when fit, all goes well and does the job.

Very good quality and value for money

I bought this item for my ensuite. So when purchasing for my main bathroom, it was an easy decision to make.

Nice little toilet

Pleased with purchase. Extremely easy to fit. Excellent dual flush mechanism and soft close seat. Would definitely recommend.

Poor design and build

Bought this product as it fitted the style of the bathroom. When I came to install a dry assembled everything first but could not understand why the cistern top would not sit level to the tiling lines. Floor level, pan level but discovered the cistern had an 8mm height difference from one side to the other. Took the cistern back and tradepoint changed it after going through 5 boxes to find one approximately level...Still 3 mm off but figured I could make it work. The cistern top has no overhang to hide such a discrepancy and it too is a different height one side to the other. Came to fit the cistern only to find that despite the pan having two inlet holes (right and left) the cistern only has one on the left as you look at it. No problem if your loo is tucked into a right hand corner but a sod if you plan to fit it into a left hand corner. Now the worst bit. After installing found the soil pipe leaks. Our coupler goes onto it as far as the toilet design allows. On any other loo I've installed I've never managed to get a coupler on so far. Took the whole thing out to discover the soil out let pipe is not 100% round but has a barely perceptible flat spot on the lower edge allowing foul water to seap back. It also a very loose fit on the coupler with plenty of slack. Your choice but I wish I'd gone to the bath and tile company ound the corner and spent an extra £50 on another toilet which we bought from there for our ensuite. The glazing on the cistern lid doesn't go under thebjokn so on one area there is a bit of exposed unglazed China. Fortunately its against the left wall so cannot be seen but if you fitted to the right side you would see it and woukd have to change it. Too many poor finish and dedign issues for me to have anything but a poor score from me. You maybe lucky but I know there are 5 for sale in my local store with un level cisterns. B and Q living upto it's trade nickname 'buy it and quibble' On the plus side it flushes well with the float and drain easy to install and it is a quick filler.

Lovely style

I chose this loo initially because the shape matched the basin I had chosen. I’m glad I did, the loo is really neat ideal for a small space and the flush is powerful. Really pleased with my purchase

Santoro Contemporary Close-Coupled Toilet

Whist the toilet and cistern look great the Santoro Close Couple Toilet has got to be the worst design in a toilet I have ever seen. Installation was a dream. However after 6 months of 'gentle use', we have 3 toilets in the house, we found the seat moved. The only way I could tighten the nuts holding the seat in place was by removing the whole toilet off and away from the wall. So that I could access the bolts and nuts for the seat. That was one consideration we failed in when we purchased the toilet.

Cooke and Lewis Santoro toilet and cistern

Recently purchased the Santoro. Fitting quite straightforward, First impressions show promise, seems to be a quality product.
