AVOID at all costs. Corroded in under one year

Initially no problem but has corroded phenomenally to the point where it now leaks through the holes in the picture. Just under 2 years old and needs replacing. Low water pressure as well.
Very low quality which is difficult to know when you first buy it. Personally would avoid any Cooke and Lewis tap in the future as in allll likelihood it will need replacing.

Bought this tap a month ago and employed the services of my plumber to install it yesterday 5th April 2018. Whilst it looks great the performance of water flow/pressure is poor - especially with regards to the hot water. In my estimation and in comparison to our old tap we have had a 50% drop-off in flow/pressure in hot water and 30% to the cold water. The plumber tripled checked his installation but could find no reason for the lack of flow/pressure and to his credit (as he was being collected from our premises) had his plumber work mate check it all out. He also could find no problem with the installation but agreed that the flow/pressure was very poor. I will be getting in contact with B & Q/Cooke & Lewis to discuss the matter.
Good tap looks and functionality

this replaces a Blanco tap fitted originally about 4 years ago, that kept going rusty. the original fitters, princess kitchens, informed me that they did not guarantee taps beyond 2 years. we'ed already had one replacement of the swan neck because blanco processes were deemed to be faulty hence rust, so by the time the replacement failed we had lost faith in blanco as a manufacturer and princess kitchens as fitters. the tap you have supplied fully fits all functional requirements, looks great and fits in well. It benefits from a ten year guarantee. As things stand, we are very content with it.
It’s a tap
