I had always had swish or the cheaper version of this rail because my curtains ran better on them, sadly I changed to poles & I found they were and are totally useless. As my curtains coming adrift. Therefore I have made up my mind to revert to the rail. It is easy to put up, & adjust. Anyone can do it. I am replacing these piles I'm going to get the rails back in place I wish I had never changed them.
Rather have a Track than a Pole

I had Curtain Tracks in every room, of my home until 015. When I had a freak fire.
Now I only have them in three rooms. They are easy to use. And put up, and they look a lot smarter than any pole that's on the market.
I thought I would be better off having poles. But how wrong I was. Since having them in my llounge my velvet curtains have come adrift on more than one occasion. Now I have had my fill. I am getting on, and the last thing I need is a hook or to coming off. I simply do not think they are worth all they made out to be. Give me a track any day I may be old fashioned but I know what I need to keep the drafts out and nosey neighbours. And it certainly is not a pole. The only thing that goes against this extendable rail is the length of the cord. It is simply to long. So I remove it.
Then I know that my curtains will open &close just the same as with the cord. Sadly it is for childrens safety. But even the weight at the Base is of no use what's so ever. But I wish with all my heart I still had my Tracks in lounge & Bedroom. I would give my sadness to have my tracks back. Any day.

I purchased this as it seemed a good buy. If the instruction were written out correctly it would have made it easy to install. Connecting the wall brackets to the rail took a long time to figure out.
Its one of those tasks that once you have finished you think, that was easy
Right on track

Read the reviews, it took me exactly 30minutes to to put the rail up,one tip is to put the bracket onto the rail first, and install the rail onto a pelmet it makes things easier

Really really really bad. Awkward to fit and to adjust, runners kept sticking. Took 5 hours to set up.never would recommend this item to anyone. Nearly threw it in the bin a few times. Glad the job is over
