Quality is now so poor

I have bought 4 of these in the past and have been fine as long as you can find an undamaged one in store. I have just been to buy another couple and paint is so thin and parts have been missed. Aswell as this the hardwood edges have been replaced with thin MDF which clearly won't last. Where is the quality control on these???
Disappointing Doors (sadly)

I bought one of these previously and was reasonably happy with it. They’re not the most expensive doors so you’re not expecting the world but was happy. However I just purchased 7 more for a house and have been left feeling really disappointed.
The doors which used to be edged with wood are now made entirely from MDF. Really not great for working with to fit.
But what really let them down was the finish on the paintwork. There was not a single door that didn’t need touching up where the paint hadn’t fully covered the detailing and to be honest the top coat was so thin that they all look like they need a coat of paint. Considering they just put the prices up by 10% the day before I bought them, it just added insult to injury! I should have saved the money and bought the primed ones instead as now I’ll still be wasting my evenings giving them a coat of paint!

These are to be avoided, the internal is MDF, which is clearly not designed to hold the door bolts as it disintegrated when chiseled. Furthermore two of the doors had the internal blocksthatvthe handle screws into so low nothing apart from the internal handle bar is holding them on. Worst quality mass produced door I have ever seen.
Looks lovely but hard to plane

Look great once hung but can be a nightmare to plane down due to it being made out of MDF, it almost disintegrates to dust

I paid extra for prepainted as opposed to primed so I am very annoyed that I have had to pay for paint and paint them on top of the £50+! The paint job on all 4 doors was awful, with brown wood still showing through all over every door. The carpenter’s I hired thought they were primed they were that bad so they didn’t tell me about the state of the doors prior to hanging and B&Q have said that all they can do it exchange, so I would have to take the doors off and pay a carpenter to re-hang them! Absolutely shocking service and product.
