ADVISORY, Do not put this on brand new decking, as the preservative that’s used to protect the wood ( copper sulphate I think) will react with the stain, try to leave the deck till the sun has made the most of the wood treatment to evaporate of, and you will need the 2/3 coats as suggested in the instructions, and allow each coat to fully harden off before revolting, I’m a landscape garden that uses it on all the decks I do
