Don’t waste your money
Followed the instructions to the letter but made very little difference to a grey ( as shown of the label ) hardwood table and chairs . A lot of hard work for minimal return!! Don’t waste your money

Saves hard work.
Bought this product as I had 4 wooden chairs & a table to restore. It does clean up the wood although same result could be obtained with a lot of rubbing down. Saves time.

Works but care needed
This product works on teak or teak substitute so long as the wood has not been varnished or lacquered in which case you are wasting your time. Used with a stainless steel scouring pad and gloves it cleans old oiled wood really well. Also available at half this price from other hardware stores.

Patchy
Tried this today on garden table. Result was patchy, inspite of following instructions carefully and repeating the treatment when first "coat" proved ineffectual. I will now try my power sander.

Don't waste your money
Followed the instructions & it made absolutely no difference to our hardwood garden table & chairs. Gave up with it & ended up abrading the dirt off & back to bare wood with a scouring pad & soapy water, before applying teak oil. Very annoying as the product isn't cheap at £15 a tin.

Impressive
I bought this to attempt to renovate our old grey picnic bench, more in hope than expectation. However, it exceeded all expectations, producing an "almost like new" result. A couple of coats of wood oil, and it looks really nice, and hopefully will last for many more years.

Useless
I bought this product to restore a two year old table which had spent one winter outside. Despite following the instructions and trying it three times it made absolutely no difference. Not really a gel, more watery. Don't waste your money on it.

It does the job, but depending on the sitution
If the wood is dirty for an entire year of being outside in the rain, etc, keep in mind this will help a little when scrubbing the tables and chairs, but there is still a hard work to be done which takes hours to finish the restoration. I have completed, but to be honest I will paint next time to avoid hours of scrubing, which would be even more without this product.

Easy and satisfying
Paint on, scrub, wait 15 mins and wash off. Worked on both hardwood and softwood benches in our garden. Finish was pale teak colour, just need to apply teak oil to protect.

Girlfriend said it looked like new
We bought some second hand garden furniture that had been neglected, the wood was grey and tired. I was impressed by the results but I wouldn't say that the chairs were ready for the mother in law, still required oil but afterwards the results were well worth the time and effort
