- Surface Preparation - Bare wood should be pre-treated with Cuprinol Wood Preserver Clear (IP) before applying Cuprinol Garden Shades. Use pre-treated timber if in ground contact. Surfaces should be clean, dry & free from algae & mould.

Fantastic colour
Lovely light grey finish , looks great in the garden especially on sunny days , I haves used this colour few years now , it weathers well , good quality product & coverage highly recommend .

Modern makeover for the garden.
To say I’m pleased with this product is an understatement! Such a gorgeous modern colour which has brought our garden right up to date! Heads up on a couple of points….. I would give the tins on the shelf a little shake to see how runny it sounds, we bought the same brand of paint but in a different colour and it was very runny compared to this colour. 🤷♀️ And “follow the instructions!” You are told to apply the second coat within 8 hours so make sure you do otherwise it doesn’t take! 🤦🏼♀️ Oh, and another thing, remember that all paints indoors or out change colour slightly at different times of the day, Muted Clay is no exception to this rule but it still remains gorgeous as the day goes by.

Lovely Colour on Fences
I purchased this colour after many tester pots on my outer close boarded fence. The finished product is lovely after two coats and really brightens the garden up.

Easy to use fence paint
Great coverage on rough-sawn fencing, 2 coats were sufficient. No runs or drips. Dries quickly, allowing second coat to be applied in no time at all. Time will tell how long lasting the paint is.
