Used this as per all instructions for our deck and after the following weekend when we used our deck, it has all worn off and looks worse than it did before we used the stain! Such an incredible waste of money and effort since we are going to have to start again from scratch! I could not recommend this any less from both a quality and price perspective!

stain washed out after few months

Like the other reviews here, I can also confirm this product is terrible. After following all instructions on the tin I am left with flaking paint and a mess of a finish. So poor and at a cost of £25 a tin, with 2 tins purchased, i feel very disappointed !!! Stop selling this B&Q. Its naff !!!!!!!

Absolute rubbish

I applied two coats of this to my decking last summer and thought I would wait to see how well it faired,it took 10 cans to cover the deck which is approx. 40 sqr meters which at £25 a tin was not a cheap job.As you can see by the pictures the dark brown finish has worn through in all the high traffic areas and lifts with the slightest movement of any furniture. If I could think of a way to remove this mess from my deck it would be gone.In its defence the only thing it is good for is the non slip.Seriously thinking about covering the whole thing with astro turf rather than look at this mess for another year.

Absolute waste of time and money

Spent £75 on three tins of this Cuprinol Hampshire Oak Decking Stain and spent about eight hours applying it with two coats to our large decking area. A week after it was painted we had some friends round for a bbq and as soon as people walked on it, the stain began to peel. I'm devistated and appalled by the quality and the amount of money and time spent on it, because of the dark colour I can't paint it another colour unless I totally strip it. Thanks cuprinol, decking ruined.
