Dc fix self-adhesive window films are a popular DIY solution for adding privacy or décor to over-looked windows, door panes and even glass table tops! A hygienic dust-free alternative to traditional window dressings, window films provide privacy, reduce glare, but still allows essential light through. Self-adhesive window films are ideal for awkward shaped windows and can be cut to any shape or size. Quick and easy to apply to clean glass surfaces. Simply spray the glass with a light spray of water, remove the backing paper little by little and smooth into place moving from side to side, pushing out excess water and any bubbles. If you make a mistake, peel back and start again. Remember to allow 5mm at the edges, the vinyl should be applied to the glass only and not touching the rubber seal around the door or window, this will cause the vinyl to come away from the glass. You can use normal household cleaners to clean the vinyl.

• Roll size 45cm x 2m (thickness 110 micron)
• Note the design runs down the length of the roll, not the width
• Can be cut to size, allow 5mm gap so the vinyl is not touching the rubber seal edge (must be applied to the glass only)
• Apply using water, spray lightly onto the glass surface, this allows you to manoeuvre the film easier
• Apply self adhesive side down onto the glass, slide into place
• Use a squeegee or dc fix smoother to smooth out any bubbles and excess water
• Don’t worry if the vinyl goes cloudy, this is normal and will disappear once dry
