Impossible on larger windows
SaraLondon - 10 days ago
I tried this on a larger window (60cmx120cm) and had an awful time of it. First tried it wet like the reviews recommended, ended up with a ton of creases and bubbles that would not come out. Second try I did it dry and same issue, so many bubbles that couldn't be smoothed out. In small patch 'trials' it looked fine but the larger window proved too difficult. I have abandoned the project and will get a blind or something. Very disappointing and a lot of time wasted.
Good value for money

I have applied 4 sets of these now - bubble and blemish free. And I'm not particularly adept at DIY. The secret is you have to clean the surface meticulously beforehand and apply WET. A number of YouTube videos show you how to mix a solution of baby shampoo... Do your research, apply to wet and very slightly soapy scrupulously clean glass and it's a winner!! Mine was supposed to be self-adhesive, but i still applied wet. Reviewers with bubbles and blemishes obviously applied to dry and dirty glass.

the instructions with this product were rubbish...I had read so of these reviews before purchasing this, a lot of them said it was a rubbish product and there were bubbles in it after applying it.
I read one or 2 reviews that said to apply it wet, thought it was strange, so I looked on YouTube and found a clip of a guy doing it wet and using a squeegee to remove any air bubbles, and do you know what they were right!! I was scared to apply it wet thinking it would make a mess, but nope it was sooooo easy to do... great product, looks perfect on my door, provides extra light but also privicy, would defo buy again and apply in the same way..
