Apply Wet!
PaulMc77 - 14 days ago
the instructions with this product were rubbish...I had read so of these reviews before purchasing this, a lot of them said it was a rubbish product and there were bubbles in it after applying it.
I read one or 2 reviews that said to apply it wet, thought it was strange, so I looked on YouTube and found a clip of a guy doing it wet and using a squeegee to remove any air bubbles, and do you know what they were right!! I was scared to apply it wet thinking it would make a mess, but nope it was sooooo easy to do... great product, looks perfect on my door, provides extra light but also privicy, would defo buy again and apply in the same way..
Should be called air bubble effect

Reading some of the reviews on here. People have reviewed the wrong product to what they have purchased. This film is not applied with water it is self adhesive. I used this to stick onto my workshop windows. Not wanting my tools on show. This film is actually impossible to apply without getting trapped bubbles. Applying the film slowly across the glass sliding a plastic squeegee behind, trapped bubbles still occur. When you peal it back to push out the bubbles it then marks the plastic. I have used the static cling film before with water and it was far superior to this product. I wish I had brought the same again. At least its only a workshop and not the house.
Disappointing

Found this almost impossible to apply successfully despite following instructions. Left with small blemishes and fold marks. Fortunately only needed for a temporary solution so will put up with it but won’t be buying again.
Absolutely fine !!!

Got 2 rolls of this to do a set of french doors, and its absolutely spot on. Let's in plenty of light, yet adds privacy as you can't see through it. Alot of negative reviews on this, but I can only imagine they have tried to apply it dry (just peeled the backing and stuck it),this needs to be applied WET, if it's done this way, use a small squeegee and take your time, the finish is perfect.
It'll do

For smaller windows, this window film is absolutely fine and easy to apply. For larger windows, it's considerably less easy. It creases and bubbles (even on the smaller windows there are water bubbles) very badly and quite frankly looks a mess. Fortunately, i bought it for office use so it'll do as a temporary fix but I would be extremely disappointed if I'd bought it to use in my home.
