- Planting location: Beds, borders or in patio pots
- Flowering period: June - October, Planting period: March - May
- Plant in a sunny spot. Dig soil improver and bonemeal into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole. Do not attempt to plant these bulbs if the ground is frozen or during freezing conditions Remove faded flowers to prolong the flowering. Water well during dry periods. Apply a general fertiliser once flowering has finished and let the foliage die back naturally. Some of these bulbs are not fully hardy and will need to be lifted and stored for winter.
