This concealed 2 part pivot hinge is used especially on bullseye and pivot timber windows. Manufactured form solid brass the female keep fits in the frame and the pinned male sits in the sash. Quite simply position the frame component in the middle of the frame and then line the window/sash up predrill and then screw male pin through the glazing rebate to engage in to keep. Repeat this process on the other side of the sash.
