Very happy with new multitool
Only used the multitool once so far to cut the old rubber damping parts off the anti-roll bar tie rods on my car. It is the first cordless one I have used so is obviously more versitile, and felt very balanced. I especially liked the method of securing the cutting blades which eliminates the need for a fixing bolt and allen key. The intensity of the vibrations is a lot less than my old one so is easier on the hands, and the less weight and better ergonomics make it easier to use. The added reason to buy this one is that it uses the same battery as my other Dewalt tools, although I did buy a couple of new 5aH barreries for the longer runtime.

You won't be disappointed
Have used other makes and this one is far superior to all before. The vibration is so quiet compared to others . It's like the saying buy cheap buy twice....but this is just as cheap!

Can’t live without this tool
This was a great price, not sure how I have managed without this tool all these years. Cutting wood, metal, sanding…brilliant. it is a robust bit of kit, solid performance and so easy to change the blades without the need for a spanner. You can make precision cuts in tight spots.

Nice piece of kit.
Already having the 18V battery with my impact wrench I bought this whilst doing up the house. I've used it in anger on many occasions now and it has always done the job I wanted well, from cutting plasterboard to sanding the ceiling. There is some vibration, the saw blade doesn't easily cut arcs / circles and you may need to add some add-ons. However, feels good in the hand, not too heavy, gets into spaces well, lasted long enough for all my jobs and I still haven't recharged the battery yet! The quick release system proved very useful when changing saw blades etc. It did look dirty and used after my first use (that did create a lot of dust) so I spent some time making it look shiny and new. Overall, I'm very happy with my first multi tool from Dewalt.

Best money can buy cuts/sands with ease. Battery interchangeable with impact drill etc
