Smoothly does it
Foxey at Home - 1 month ago
I use it for rough work on painted wood surfaces where the original paint has blistered leaving an uneven surface the thickness of the paint. I have used many other products like this, but this has been far the best so far. After rubbing down I prime the bare wood before filling.
It has a good long shelf life when replacing the lid on the tub , as this gives a good airtight seal therefore prevents it drying out.
When allowed to dry, the rubbing down with fine grade sand paper gives a very good smooth finish ready for painting
Plasterers beware, this stuff is great!

this stuff is amazing. Sticks to the wall really well and I managed to tidy up the absolute mess left by a proper plasterer. Left a really smooth finish only needed a light sand.
Really recommend this product.
Great Product

Don't expect a perfect finish , my first time trying to "plaster" using trowel, I got it as good as I could after realising that I wasn't going to get rid of every single drag mark, then sanded down with medium grit and then fine wet/dry and it looks fantastic. This was over a stippled artex wall. Time to buy more tubs and do the rest.
Not a filler

My mistake, I bought to fill small holes, it is intended to smooth already fairly smooth surfaces. any more than 1 mm and it takes for ages to dry and cracks when it does dry
Did the job

Only doing a small job so bought readymix. Easy to use and paints over easily.
