Easy installation and good quality

The grommet is easy to install and when you tighten up the main bolt (No1) it compresses the main body, reducing the rubber seal (No2) to hold the cable tightly. Very good.
Previous reviewers are mistaken

When I initially unpacked these glands I thought, like the previous reviewers, that the internal seals were missing. They are infact included, they just don't look like the seals in the instructions and are wedged up inside the gland so a bit invisible upon unpacking.
The main problem is that the design of the gland has changed since the instructions were produced. This is immediately obvious from the product name on the instructions (M20 Grommet) The internal seals no longer have a tight, rectangular apeture as pictured but now have a larger round apeture. This allows for the larger range of cable diameter as advertised.
B&Q need to update the images in the instructions to reflect this and also pack the seals loose in the bag so that they're easier to locate.
Sealing gland is missing

Faulty product, '2' - cable seal is not included, contrary to the instructions. Apparently all instances of this product miss that part. Waste of money.
Total rubbish

Either half the parts were missing or there's no way on Earth that this would grip a cable let alone even approach being watertight. Luckily I think I've managed to cannibalise a broken item to fix things as it would cost more to return it than it cost.
Too big holes

The quality of the product is ok but the holes for the cable are far too big to compress down. I found barely any tightness on a 1mm 3 core, and it wouldn't go down to a 0.75mm.
