Cuts through dirt and grease

I bought this sugar soap to prepare my banisters for re painting. The product was well packaged and easy to pour and it cut through the dirt and grease on my old paint to provide a good foundation for my new paint

I use sugar soap to clean all surfaces I am going to paint to remove dust, grime and grease. The quality of the finish is in the preparation and a good clean base is essential. Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. Good decorating is 80% preparation and 20% painting (i.e. 4 day's prep for every 1 day's painting).
