Fantastic for smoothing plaster filler
As well as a wallpaper smoother it can be used for skimming plaster. I had a lot of areas of damaged (cracks, holes, patches) in my front room & after repairing with plaster filler this tool was brilliant for smoothing over these areas to produce a great finish reducing the sanding time immensely.

Great product but take care!!
First time I used this tool was today (8th Feb 2017) but before using it I removed the B&Q Diall stickers from off the smoother, this left a very sticky residue on the plastic smoother. An excellent tool did the job perfectly BUT the sticky residue if not being ultra careful caught the wallpaper and took off the top layer of paper. A great product sadly ruined by B&Q over enthusiastic use of stickers. If you are considering buying one then my advice is to leave the stickers on.

Not suitable for fine rippled white wallpaper
This is very good for smoothing wallpaper, however it has made my brand new wallpaper look dirty. Basically the black plastic flakes off and forms small black dust particles that dig into the wall paper and cause dirty patches everywhere that are difficult to get off. This obviously doesn't happen to every wallpaper and maybe I've just been unlucky but it was so bad I decided to stop using it after putting one sheet up. It's a shame as it 's very effective as a smoother.

I bought this as it was on the paste the wall video on the website. It's good in theory, but following the video for 11 drops, has lead to it having a bit missing in the middle!
