• The digging hoe is supplied loosely assembled when delivered. The Hoe features a tapered wooden shaft that the removable steel head slides onto from the bottom. This (similar to a pickaxe assembly) allows the possibility to remove the head after use if required. The head must first be knocked down onto the shaft to secure it before use. The head to shaft fit improves with use as the wooden taper further engages with the head.
