RF thermostat
This is an RF (radio frequency) thermostat although it doesn’t state that in the description. Not good for my purposes. Also came without instructions

Easy to install, instructions were clear and concise we also found that the thermostat was good value for money

Works well, very positive temperature control.
The digital display temperature read out is clear and easy to see. The adjustment is very positive on the temperature control dial, it's a little larger than l had hoped for but works well. There's a great video on line on how to set it up and use it.

I was sent a used Thermostat
We could not believe when this thermostat arrived via DPD (£5 extra) in an old box, without a manual and years of greasy finger prints accumulated on it.

unreliable
I bought this a year ago. Easy to fit and worked well for 6 months. Then the batteries ran out. I changed them but it never worked well again. Low battery indicator came on after 2 weeks so new batteries again. Then it turned itself off along with the heating. More new batteries, fine for a week then low batt indicator and so it went on. Found lots of similar reviews online. Just replaced it with a simple cheap room stat and had a full refund.

Good Product
Easy to fit. Good instructions. Easy to use. Fitted in the hall and it holds the house at a much more even and controllable temperature than the old thermostat. It does this by switching the boiler on and off MUCH more often than the old one. We do not really like this but you cannot have everything!
