Fast grout removal but wears out fast

Cuts through grout waaaay faster than anything else - if you're doing more than a few inches forget about using a grout rake.
Did about 8-9 metres of grout in a couple of hours but took three 1.6mm bits

Very expensive and does not take long to wear down , think my grouting was made of harder stuff

This tool didn't last long at all and managed to grind itself away with the first use. Waste of money.

I had been attempting to remove old grout with a grout rake and it would have taken days, then remembered my brother had a Dremel so borrowed it and bought this. It literally ate through the grout and I had an entire shower cubical grout free in around 3 hours. Fantastic!
The bit that comes with it is a bit on the narrow side so I bought a bigger one but to be honest I did most of it with the one supplied. The attachment screws onto the Dremel and has a guide at the front and back that sits between the tiles. The secret is to go shallow at first and then slower go deeper until the grout just falls out. As other people have mentioned you can't use the attachment in the corners but I just took it off and did it free hand with no problems. Just take your time and don't push it too hard.
The bit did wear out towards the end so if you're doing a big job might need a few. Great product though, I'm very pleased.
great little tool

Far better than scraping away the grout by hand. You can see what the bit is doing.
