• Suitable for use on Brick, concrete, existing paintwork, plaster, plasterboard, masonry & wallpapers
• Surface Preparation - Preparation is straightforward and very similar to normal good decorative practice. 1. Put down dust sheets before work begins 2. Remove any loose material such as old paint, grease, dirt, mould or defective wallpaper 3. If mould is present, thoroughly clean the area using Dryzone® 100 Mould Sanitiser. Avoid sanding the mould area to reduce spreading of spores. 4. Allow to dry thoroughly. 5. For glossy surfaces lightly abrade the surface with abrasive paper avoiding inhalation of dust and wearing suitable personal protective equipment (face mask, gloves, safety spectacles etc). 6. If necessary, apply an appropriate primer or sealer. For new or porous plaster surfaces use Dryzone® Mould-Resistant Emulsion Paint thinned up to 10 % with clean tap water as normal good practice. Allow to dry thoroughly. New plasterwork should be allowed to dry for 7 – 14 days before applying any paint finish.
• Instructions for Use - 1. Apply Dryzone System Mould-Resistant Emulsion Paint using brush or roller. 2. Stir thoroughly before use. 3. Apply two coats of Mould-Resistant Emulsion Paint allowing sufficient drying time between coats. 4. Clean equipment with clean tap water before the paint dries. 5. Mould-Resistant Emulsion Paint must not be covered with any other paint or wallpaper.
