Features and benefits
Dulux Silk is a smooth and creamy emulsion paint for use on walls and ceilings, giving a delicate shine finish. Silk emulsion looks especially good on perfectly plastered or skimmed walls. At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.
- Control air pollutants by choosing products with lower solvent levels

Expected better coverage

Covered the previous paint, which was a pale yellow after 3 coats! I really expected better from Dulux.
Colour paler than expected, or shown on colour chart. It's hardly distinguishable from white!

After buying a lot of testers I made a decision on the dulux white mist silk. I’m now filled with regret as the tester colour is completely different to the paint in the tin. After putting two coats of this paint on my walls this was noticed as I thought it would dry darker. After leaving it to dry over night I’ve woken up and it looks worse. I don’t know how many more coats it’s going to need for an even coverage. I shall refrain from buying dulux paint in the future as this experience and expense has completely put me off.

I have always used the Dulux brand whenever I paint, but this particular shade is SHOCKING. I've done three coats to cover blue mist and it's still showing through. It will probably need 5-6 coats in total to cover a very pale blue wall. I've never experienced this before with any of my previous colours. Will have to buy another tin now and waste more money. I should've stuck to chic shadow!
The colour is nice however, a very pale grey, more like tinted white with grey, but the coverage; very poor!

Given the walls three coats and still looks patchy.
Will never buy again
Goes on white and drys with a hint of grey

You’ll need two coats for even coverage, easy to roll on walls with a lovely thickness to it. Good quality and only a slight smell on application. I liked the different tones you get during the day, warm, fresh and clean.
