Features and benefits

At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

  • Dulux matt is a smooth and creamy emulsion paint for use on walls and ceilings
  • Ideal for a modern, flat finish
  • Chromalock technology adds value to the product
  • The colour will not fade

Supposedly a light grey but its more of a lilac colour, also when you use a brush with it, it brushes on in 1 stroke and brushes it off when you go back over with the 2nd stroke. Awful paint do not use!!

It’s baby blue!

I asked my partner to paint the hallway, all up the stairs and landing in Polished Pebble after is tried a tester pot in various areas, I came back from work and it’s all blue! toyally different colour to the tester pot. Now I need to start again finding a new colour and means repainting that big area. I don’t know why dulux advertise this as a true grey

Polished Pebble - NOT grey anymore!

I've used Dulux 'Polished Pebble' matt emulsion paint in my last 2 homes. Dried to a lovely cool grey shade (definitely grey). But oh dear... in my newest 3rd home I automatically went for the same colour but it doesn't look anything like it use to. It's a nice colour once it's dried but it definitely looks like more lilac and icy blue. Not the look I was going for. Very upset because my disappointment when I look at my living room is nagging away at me to repaint it all from scratch! Has Deluxe changed the colour mix or something?

Poor patchy coverage

Worst paint I have ever had to cut in with, one stroke puts it on the other takes it off. I have never had to work a paint so hard, and I'm a decorator. To thick, poor coverage with a brush, OK with roller. Paint was well stirred before use, only got worse the more I stirred it. I have used paint half the price of this with far better results. Only saving grace is the Finnish of the paint, after two more coats than should be necessary was applied. Go for crown is my advice to clients now.

Happy

So the paint itself is super thick infact I did send the first tin back because I thought it was faulty however the second tin looked pretty much the same I just gave it a really good stir and cracked on with it and I’m happy with the end result. The paint does have a blue tinge to it though.
