This emulsion paint is suitable for and covers up to 13 m² per litre on average.
- Suitable for Ceilings & walls
Features and benefits
Dulux Silk is a smooth and creamy emulsion paint for use on walls and ceilings, giving a delicate shine finish. Silk emulsion looks especially good on perfectly plastered or skimmed walls. At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.
- Control air pollutants by choosing products with lower solvent levels

Product works well

Was slightly put off this product as there was a bad review but it worked just as I expected it to. It’s much thinner than Dulux Matt paint but that was expected. I painted silk black on top of very very light grey & it only needed two coats. I’m very pleased with the finish.
Worst paint ever bought

Always bought dulux paint so trusted it would be good , it was a nightmare , grainy , bad coverage had to keep goin over parts , bubbled peeled off , the finished look was far from nice , in fact that poor peeled most of it all off the walls and repainted in another paint , causing a lot of hard unnecessary work , never again it’s that bad surprised b&q sell it
Terrible uneven finish even after 3 coats !

This paint gave a terrible finish on a facing wall, it has dried so unevenly that I put a further 2 more coats on trying to get an even silk finish (this didn't work!)
The paint does not allow you to overlap on your paint strokes in other words when painting top to bottom, when you start at the top again it starts graining it finishes with horrible uneven streaks everywhere I would have taken the paint back to get a refund but I had almost used all the tin.
I have now went for a matt finish but not Dulux.
