Features and benefits
Dulux Matt is a smooth and creamy emulsion paint for use on walls and ceilings which is ideal for a modern, flat finish. At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.
- Control air pollutants by choosing products with lower solvent levels

Patchy and disappointing

We painted our bedroom with this and, four agonising coats later, it is still patchy. It's thin so sprays everywhere and the coverage is shocking. Repainting it with an entirely different brand soon to try and fix things. Do not recommend.
Doesn't go far compared to previous deluxe paints

I've always used delux as it's always covered well, applied evenly and have never needed a giant tin for a small room. Well I bought the 5l hoping to cover two walls twice. Nope, only managed to do one coat on each wall. It's turned out horrendously patchy over what was once timeless years ago (living in a rental) I've found the brush puts a lovely thick layer on, however doesn't spread well, where as using a roller applies very uneven and patchy. Not impressed at all :(
Nice colour, terrible coverage

Painting over a neutral base and took 4 coats and lots of roller spray. Bought the simply refresh version and it was much better. Avoid this and pay a bit more for better coverage with the simple refresh one coat matt emulsion. If you do use this, cover everything when using a roller, its so thin it sprays everywhere.

I have used timeless for years, love it. Its not quite as bright and glaring as white, more subtle in tone.If I want to paint over darker walls, I always use a white first then finish with coat of timeless and it looks lovely.
