For everyone with a garden or allotment, the Einhell GP-EA 18/150 Li BL Solo cordless earth auger is a powerful helper not only when it comes to planting but also for all kinds of other garden jobs such as installing fence posts, anchoring decorations in the ground, or even excavating circular foundations. This cordless tool is supplied complete with the auger attachment (length 80 cm / diameter 15 cm). The cordless earth auger is a member of the Power X-Change family from Einhell, in which the rechargeable batteries with high-quality lithium-ion cells can be combined with all system devices from the product range. This product comes without a battery and charger; these items are available separately. One PXC 18 V rechargeable battery is required to operate the earth auger. The auger screw is driven into the ground by a brushless motor that transmits its power to optimum effect and also lasts longer than conventional carbon brush motors. Another notable feature of this cordless tool is its robust aluminium gear head. The earth auger can be set to three different modes: 1) Counter-clockwise to move soil upwards or to loosen the drill 2) clockwise rotation in standard mode. Regular force setting for easy drilling tasks in soft ground & 3) clockwise rotation in boost mode. Maximum force setting for hard surfaces. Maximum stability and torsion-resistance are provided by a robust metal frame, and for practical handling and ergonomic operation there is a double handle with softgrip.
