Well made and did a great job

I needed a multi-tool to modify skirting boards to fit some kitchen units. I would have bought a cordless but none available in time for the job. Bought this as a relatively cheap stop gap and was pleasantly surprised by how well it has performed - robust and did the job plus a number of others since so it will be staying in my tool bag. Variable speed is useful and the scraper blade has been useful for detatching timber glued to a wall. Adaptor for Bosch blades is a nice extra as Erbauer not always readily available
A Well Engineered Piece of Kit - But.........

The EMT 300 appears to be a very well engineered piece of equipment. Its construction is solid and it has some weight to it. I've yet to use it as I have bought it in advance of a project I've got planned but it comes with a comprehensive set of blades. I own an Erbauer cordless hand drill that has been brilliant so I'm hoping the same for this item. I have found one annoyance and that is the unit comes with a heavy duty case. The only thing is it is almost impossible to get the cable curled up into the case. The only chance you've got is to remove the small tool box and put that somewhere else. Failing that the carry case becomes redundant which is a shame. They needed to make it bigger!
Superb Piece of Kit

Had some shutters delivered but they needed a bit of adapting, so bought this to help. And did it just! Superb! It cut neatly and accurately and made the sanding such light work I wonder why I hadn't got one before. I'm now using it to construct a baseboard for a train layout and a soft fruit cage and it has helped improve my joint work (which I hate) to the extend that I'm now really proud of what I've made. It's simple to use, and to change from cutter to sander. In the short time I've owned it it has become one of my favourite tools.
Solid, and effective

I have several consumer-level power tools from the likes of Black & Decker, Bosch and Mac Allister. This Erbauer is definitely built and works at a higher level. Feels like it will passed on to my children as a family heirloom!

i started with the Mac Alistair version after 2 hours it broke. replaced with this and this worked far faster and less effort. did the remainder of the job in no time at all. quick and efficient. good locking mechanism
