This is a god compromise lining paper. It is thick enough to hide many irregularities, but not too thick to be difficult to handle, or too thin to tear. It does absorb water really well, so you need plenty of paste, but overall a good product, and does a sound job, with a decent surface to apply the next layer to. The double length roll means really good value for money as well.

I am a Joiner to trade and was needed a ceiling needing doing in my house. Decided to do it myself. I am shockd at how cheap this product was and how good quility it was. Definitely recommend
Not exactly great

I bought the to cover up an uneven wall and it wasn’t good enough. My wall wasn’t that bad but this was too thin and showed the slightest imperfections. I had to rip it down and try the thicker graded paper.
Wrong product description

The paper itself is of good quality, however the dimensions given in the description above are wrong. This paper with product code ending 7932 is 0.53 in width not 0.56, with a coverage of 10.6m² not 11.2m².
As the seemingly identical paper with product code ending 1154.
I have called B&Q to tell them of the description error.
This has led to some very awkward papering with a tiny sliver of paper being needed to complete the wall, where had it been the 56cm expected that would not have been an issue.
I live remotely and had no opportunity to exchange for the correct size product.
