Set like a rock in tub
Bought about one week ago came to use today 16/10/2019 only to find it was set rock solid inside tub so could not use when I looked at date on base of tub it was 08/2017 on instructions it says shelf life 12 months so according to date it was already over 2 years old I have had to buy another tub from elsewhere to ensure it is useable.

Fire Cement
Excellent consistency. Used it to reseal a joint on a wood burning stove. Easy to use. I suspect a lot to waste on the next tidy up!!

Good product
Bought some this week as the fire bricks had crumbled away at the back of the fireplace. Found it very easy to use and mould into place and has set really hard!

No problems
Unlike the previous reviewer I must have been lucky, the cement was easy to work and has produced a really good finish on our stove flue. Very pleased with the product, and the click and collect went very well from the local B&Q store (Elgin).

old stock
Found this stiff and hard to use, then bought more elsewhere and discovered it should be soft and easy to use. It was still within sell by date but really unusable. Give it a squeeze before you buy to check for softness.
