• Sylvamix Nursery Stock contains enough base fertiliser for the first few weeks only. For optimal results, supplementary feeding is required, either through liquid fertilisers or the addition of controlled-release fertilisers. These should be applied at the manufacturer’s recommended rates for peat-based growing media. No changes to standard nursery practices are necessary. While a wide variety of plants have been successfully cultivated under different management regimes, it is advisable to first trial small batches to ensure the compost is suitable for your specific cultural practices.
