Elephant's Breath is instantly recognisable as a Farrow & Ball shade, both in name and colour. It's a universally popular mid-tone grey with a subtle lilac undertone, which comes more to the fore in cooler light. Try it in a scheme alongside the darker Charleston Gray and London Clay for an effortlessly cool look.

- Surface Preparation - All surfaces to be painted must be sound, clean, dry and well prepared. The recommended Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat should be used before the topcoat is applied.
- Instructions for Use - Stir contents well before use. Apply by brush, roller or sprayer.
- Instructions for Storage - Protect from frost and extreme temperatures. Best used within 6 months of purchase.

Good wall cover.
I bought this product to cover damage on a previously painted wall. The cover was good and it matched really well with the original wall colour.

A quality paint from F&B
A really good emulsion paint to apply as the opacity and coverage was superb. The colour was just right and one coat could have been ok but I applied two for a really professional finish. Farrow & Ball every time for me!

Elephants Breath for staircase
Suitable shade for our staircase, just what I was looking for to balance a busy wallpaper. I’m surprised at just how different it looks to the same paint on our kitchen cupboards, both look great, but definitely a reminder to try it in location.

Coordinating gloss
Good gloss finish bear in mind that this paint needs time to harden off between coats and at the end.
