Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.

- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Colours good on card but not on wall
Had so many problems have bought 20 samples to date abd none come out as expected nothing like the card or tin label

Good coverage but tonal changes between pots
excellent two coat coverage and depth of colour, but the estate emulsion Lime White and the casein distemper Lime White are slightly different tonally. The emulsion is yellower than the distemper. As a result the lime plaster wall is slightly different from the mineral plaster

Warm & elegant
I used this on my stairs and landing eight years ago and I am now refreshing with new paint. It’s such a warm & elegant colour. We do not have a window on our landing so this adds a beautiful warmth and light which is needed. I have Slipper Satin on the woodwork which compliments it perfectly. I use Farrow & Balls paint throughout my home and outdoors. They are so easy to use and I always get perfect results. The colours have such depth and compliment the amount of or lack of light in the rooms.

F&B convert
When researching the ideal warm off-white for our small, north-facing dining room, I came across Lime White and was pretty sure this was the one. Not going to lie, the price was a bit off-putting but we decided it was better to splurge on the paint and save on the rest of the decor (god bless Dunelm, ha!) Well, I have to say the hype is justified; literally the nicest paint I’ve ever used and worth every penny. The colour is exactly what I wanted, depth is stunning, coverage was fantastic. I’ve bought a can of Dimity for upstairs next!

Lime White

A fabulous cream
I want a cream colour to go with Calke Green cupboards, but I didn’t want anything too yellow. This is fab. With the light changes, it goes from a cream, to a light stone colour with a hint of green undertones. This matches perfectly with the green cupboards. Really nice finish.
