Unique idea
Bought this a few weeks ago, uncertain as to how a bit of steel mesh would affect my wood burning. It certainly burns the wood to a finer ash and is easy to clean but as to burning less wood is a bit hit and miss due to slightly reduced heat output. I will continue to use it as it is by no means cheap maybe it's not so effective in wood burners than open fires?
