The 0.2 - 0.5 micron ceramic candle also removes 99.99% of sediment and chlorine which significantly improves the taste & odour of your drinking water. This kit is designed to filter out cryptosporidium; a hard-shell bacteria that cannot be treated with UV light (like most bacteria can). Cryptosporidium can cause symptoms such as respiratory and gastrointestinal illness. This kit includes: A tap of your choice. A saddle valve for water feed connection.* Tap reducer fitting for 1/4 inch pipe connection. 2 of 3/8" x 1/4" reducer fittings for HIP Housing. Newton 10" Ceramic Water Filter Housing.
