Good fire

Very flimsy
I bought this product last month. Found everything very flimsy and nothing solid. Manual control knob is hit and miss to light ignition. Think very soon it may just pack up. I have rearranged coal bed that many times, following the layout in book and photos of fire but coals and back are still sooting. Dont think many fitters would know how to lay them to stop this happening. Also the fire came with 16 coals but all photos of fire show 14 coals not 16 so confused. No where to put the other two anyway. Overall you get what you pay for. But for 240.00 dont expect the sooting of coals. Having to keep cleaning it off constantly.

Value for money
I’m sitting in the lounge with this fire on. It’s super. Attractive looking and emits a lot of heat. On a cold day like today it makes the room look cosy and inviting

Value for money
Bought it a few weeks ago. Had it fitted on 22/4/2016. Gas Engineer found it easy to install. Value for money and really warm.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
I bought my fire two years ago and gad to have a focal point engineer to look at it as there was a fault after having it fitted. The engineer fixed the fault but didnt lay the cials correctly therefore the flames didnt burn correctly. The fire now looks like its 10years old and focal point have agreed the coals arent laid right thus causing the glass to go white and the inside of the fire to badly mark. They arent prepared to fix their engineers incompetance. The surround around the fire doesnt meet up correctly on the edges. Al in all the fire looks cheap and nasty and focal point are useless.
